I’ve taught IGCSE Physics for nine years, including several years in the classroom before moving into private tuition. Mechanics is the topic I most enjoy because a good force diagram can turn a difficult question into something manageable. I’m quite methodical with calculations and expect working to be shown clearly. As exams approach, we use past papers regularly and look closely at where marks are actually being lost.

Hi! I’m an IGCSE Physics tutor with an engineering background and five years of teaching experience. Electricity is probably my favourite section, especially circuits and electromagnetism. I use sketches constantly and like linking the theory to motors, generators and other things students have actually seen. Revision is mixed rather than topic-by-topic, so students have to decide which ideas and equations apply for themselves.
